Ben jij lid van het ComeniusNetwerk en wil je een bijdrage leveren aan het ComeniusFestival? Ook dit jaar kun je als festivalmaker anderen inspireren met jouw bijdrage aan beter onderwijs. 

Het thema van dit jaar is ‘The rocky road to innovation in higher education’.

Het pad naar onderwijsvernieuwing gaat niet altijd over rozen. Op het moment dat we plannen maken, hebben we grootse ambities en streven we naar het plukken van de vruchten van onze inzet tot vernieuwing. Maar gaat dit eigenlijk wel altijd even succesvol? 

Het ComeniusNetwerk bestaat uit een groeiende groep hoger onderwijsvernieuwers. Binnen deze – in de basis succesvolle – groep worden vernieuwende projecten opgestart en uitgevoerd. Natúúrlijk slagen deze niet allemaal. En als we elkaar eerlijk in de ogen kijken zijn juist de hordes die we tegenkomen de belangrijkste leermomenten. Het onverwachte prikkelt ons brein en stimuleert tot anders denken, wat weer tot prachtige oplossingen kan leiden. 

Daarom richten we ons tijdens het ComeniusFestival 2022 niet alleen op de succesverhalen of best practices, maar zijn we ook benieuwd naar best failures. Juist van de ‘rocky road’ naar succes en van gefaalde projecten kunnen we leren. We zijn er klaar voor om het falen te omarmen en met elkaar in gesprek te gaan over hoe we leren van andermans tegenvallers. Zo plukken de studenten uiteindelijk de vruchten van al onze pogingen tot onderwijsvernieuwing.

Tijdens de middag delen we ervaringen en ideeën uit uiteenlopende innovatieprojecten en is er aandacht voor de activiteiten van tracés en partners van het ComeniusNetwerk. Ook dit jaar wordt de Nederlandse Hogeronderwijspremie uitgereikt door de Minister van Onderwijs, cultuur en wetenschap. 

Meld je nu aan als festivalmaker!

Wil je de kennis, ervaring, creativiteit en innovatieve kracht als onderwijsvernieuwer delen met de festivalgangers? Meld je dan aan als festivalmaker. Graag moedigen we je aan om de kennis over je onderwijsinnovatie te delen op een (creatieve) manier die past bij je project.

Een bijdrage leveren kan op verschillende manieren: 

1. Workshop: Via een workshop van maximaal 45 minuten ga je interactief aan de slag met de deelnemers van jouw sessie. De nadruk van de workshop ligt op ervaren en doen. 

2. Teacher-Talk: Via een pitch van maximaal 7 minuten inspireer je anderen met jouw innovatieproject. Na de pitch is er ruimte voor vragen en discussie. De talks worden thematisch geclusterd. 

3. Posterpresentatie: Presenteer je project in de vorm van een poster, waarin je doelen, activiteiten en behaalde resultaten aan de orde komen. Je poster kan de vorm hebben van een cartoon, wordcloud of een graphic story. 

  4. Vrije categorie: Past geen van bovenstaande vormen bij hoe je jouw kennis of inzichten over onderwijsinnovatie zou willen delen? Meld je dan aan voor de vrije categorie en ga met de festivalcommissie in gesprek over wat je zou willen delen. 

Je mag je bijdrage individueel doen of samen met het team waarin je werkt aan het innovatie project. Teamleden zijn van harte welkom om deel te nemen en bij te dragen als maker. Ook hoeft je bijdrage niet perse over een comeniusproject te gaan, maar is een ander onderwijsvernieuwingsproject ook welkom. Heb je eerder gepresenteerd op het festival, grijp gerust opnieuw je kans om kennis te delen. 

Kun je vóór 25 maart via het online formulier laten weten of je van plan bent naar het festival te komen als festivalmaker? Begin april hoor je hoe wij jouw bijdrage zullen inpassen in het programma. Is jouw idee nog niet helemaal uitgewerkt, dit is geen probleem wij denken graag met je mee!

Call for Festivalmakers

Are you a member of the ComeniusNetwerk and do you want to contribute to the ComeniusFestival? Sign up as a festival maker, a chance to inspire others with your contribution to better education.

This year’s theme is ‘The rocky road to innovation in Higher education’.

The path to educational innovation is not always a sunshine and roses. When we start with an innovation project, we have the greatest ambitions and strive to reap the benefits of our innovations. But are we always just as successful?

The Comenius Network consists of a growing group of higher education innovators. Innovative projects are started up and carried out within this network. Of course not all of these projects succeed. And if we are completely honest with each other the hurdles we encounter are probably the most important learning moments. The unexpected stimulates our brain and help us to think differently, which in turn can lead to wonderful solutions.

That is why during the Comenius Festival 2022 we do not want to focus only on the success stories or end products. We are not only curious about best practices, but also about best failures. We can learn from the 'rocky road' to success and from failed projects. We are ready to embrace failure and start a conversation about how we learn from each other’s setbacks. In this way, the students ultimately benefit from all our attempts at educational innovation.

During the afternoon we will share experiences and ideas from various innovation projects and attention will be paid to activities of tracés and partner organizations of the ComeniusNetwork. For the second year the Dutch Higher Education Premium will be awarded by the minister of Education, Culture and Science during the ComeniusFestival.

Do you want to share knowledge, experience, creativity and innovative power as an educational innovator with the festival delegates? Register as a festival maker!

We would like to encourage you to share your knowledge about your educational innovation in a (creative) way that suits your project.

You can contribute in several ways:

1. Workshop: In an interactive workshop of 45 minutes you will work with the delegates on your subject of choice. The emphasis of the workshop is on experiencing and doing.
2. Teacher-Talk: This ‘classical’ pitch format is also an option to present outcomes. During this 7 minute pitch you get the chance to inspire others with your innovation project. We cluster a few pitches per theme and will guarantee that interaction will take place.
3. Poster: present your project via a poster. Share you aims, activities and results. Your poster can be in the form of a cartoon, wordcloud or a graphic story.
4. Free form: Do none of the formats fit with how you would like to share your knowledge or insights about educational innovation? Then sign up for this free form and share your ideas with the festival committee.

You may contribute individually or together with your team members. Also, your contribution does not necessarily have to be a Comeniusproject, but can be another educational innovation project you are working on. Did you present in a previous edition of the ComeniusFestival? Please feel free to take this opportunity again to share new insights and results.
